Problem with Facebook account/Email account

Hi, I signed up for Spotify premium when it was 3 months for $.99. I have not been able to access my account at all and Spotify Cares assured me that there was no account associated with my email. I just got charged for the $10 regular charge despite this. 

 

I think what might have happened is that I signed up for the premium account with my email and then connected through Facebook later. This is a problem now for 3 months as my account has not recognized my premium membership.

 

Wondering if there is anything Spotify can do to get me a refund as I would like to avoid using a chargeback.
