Purchased tracks but not added to WMP library

Purchased tracks but not added to WMP library

I successfully added some tracks that i'd purchased to WMP library so I could sync them to my mp3 player, but having bought more tracks recently they are not appearing in WMP library and I can only sync by creating a new a playlist on WMP which is annoying, especially if i am offline at the time.  I am therefore tempted to just buy stuff from Amazon - surely this is not in Spotify's best interest?

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂

You should be able to manually add those tracks to your Windows Media Player:

1. Open Spotify, navigate to the Edit > Preferences page, make a note of where Spotify stores its downloads.

2. Open Windows Media Player, navigate to Music (right click) > Manage Music Library > Add your Spotify location.

Once thats done, Windows Media Player will automatically detect new tracks in that folder when it opens.

If its still not working after that, try manually opening one of the tracks using Windows Media Player, sometimes it forces it to refresh the library.
