Redeem a code

I received a Spotify 'gift card' from a local radio station about one year ago. It says 'Enjoy three months of Spotify on us' and the instructions to go to 'spotify.com/code' to enter the given VIP code.

I signed up with spotify today and tried to redeem the code. It says 'invalid code'...

Is there an expiry date on the gift card? I dont see any expiry date on the card.

I think you have 12 months to use it from the date of purchase.
