Remove deleted Spotify account from PS4

I know it should usually work to go to link.playstationmusic.com/spotify to remove my spotify account from my PS4 but is does not and I think it‘s because the linked spotify account was deleted/closed a while ago.

So on link.playstationmusic.com it only says „please wait...“ for minutes and hours and nothing happens. When I open the spotify app on my PS4 it says „connecting error“ or something like that.

I am trying it for weeks and months on multiple devices and nothing works.

If you'd like to unlink your PSN and Spotify account but you don't have access to either of the two accounts, get in touch with Sony and they should be able to help you out 🙂
