Removing Family Member

Hi, I want to remove two users from my Family Group.

It only seem to allow you to replace users with a new user but I don't want that, just simply to remove two so they can take up their own accounts.

Can you advise how to do this?

Unfortunately, it's currently it's only possible to replace/change a member, not remove a member.

Isn't that ridiculous? Why is it not possible to remove a family member? As the admin of the account and the one paying for it, I should have absolute control over who is or is not on that account. Why is this basic privilege not available? My Premium account was hacked and converter to a Family account and I can see 5 freeloaders there on it. But I can't remove them!

Hey, @vansharma.

Sorry to hear you are hacked, first of all, if you are able to access your account (which I assume you can), change your password ASAP. This should let all the freeloaders off your account. Then change your plan to a Premium account which will only allow you access to your own account!

1. Click  the slot

2. Click "replace this person"

3. Click "invite with link"

Member will be removed

I had the same problem (I wanted to remove a family member, not the hack) but looks like Spotify heard our request and today I found the button to remove a family member in the Premium for family area of the preferences.

Hi I have the same problem I want to remove a family member but my account doesn't have the remove button only the usless replace feature. 

I sent my daughter a link a few months ago that she never activated and now I can't re-invite her as it keeps saying she is already part of a family group.

What can I do
