Removing Recommendations.

On boot-up, Spotify seems determined that I should listen to an album by a talentless cretin who savagely beat up his girlfriend and who has since shown no remorse whatsoever for doing so.

As I would rather not be reminded of this criminal's existence, let alone the fact that he still has a career in music, please could someone tell me how to banish this album recommendation from my front screen, so that I never ever have to think about it again.

Hi, and welcome to the community!

Unfortunately I can't seem to see the way to delete recommendations on the home screen of Spotify, however you can for now rotate the recommendations by clicking on the adjacent ones and they will be displayed as the main recommendation.

Feel free to submit this as an idea to the ideas community, or add Kudos and comments to the idea if the idea is already there.

Unfortunately, there is no way to change/hide the recommended albums on the What's New page.

I second some of this.

not that i care about what artists are doing in their sparetime, but Spotify sometimes recommend music to me as if it had no idea who I am. I'd like to tell it "NO!" . sometimes it even angers me that it could ever find the nerve to recommend what it is recommending.

Are you referring to the discover tab? 

If so, there is a whole heap of improvement ideas here which are worth adding your support too!
