Saved songs no longer downloading and instead streaming on PC

I don't know if this is something that spotify has changed or if it is the result of selecting a higher fidelity quality for my music, but my saved song list is no longer saved directly to my PC. This is problematic for me because I do not have a good internet connection and I game frequently. Lately I've not been able to play music while playing games as my connection instantly goes to garbage I try to do both. I'm extremely unhappy with this because I was given no notice to a change of service or any warning about saved songs on my PC not functioning with higher quality. Oddly enough my phone still functions normally for my saved song list, it only streams on my pc.

You can try to de-register your PC on your Spotify account here. Then, reinstall your Spotify app on your PC and redownload your offline music.
