Spotify, please improve your SEARCH FUNCTION!!! YouTube is so much better!

In what way would you suggest it is improved?

1) Find matches as soon as people start typing

2) Suggest names when people make typing errors

     like Google does: Sjaikvosci will be suggested as Tsjaikovski immediately

     like Google does: Pannaple Gas will be suggested Banapple Gas

I do a lot of song searching. What I have noticed is that YouTube and Google are

must more focussed on finding the right result. Maybe you should compare it yourself.

Which application are you using? In the desktop client I do get search suggestions in a drop down as I type.

As you suggested, search correction in Spotify isn't as great as google or youtube, although that being said google is a search company!

I use Spotify mainly on Windows Desktop.

You are right, matches appear as soon as you start typing, but not as 'intelligent' as Google/YouTube do.

I've made prints of hit-charts of the past, from the day I was born (Veronica Top40). One print a month with 40 songs. Now I am listening to every song on these charts. A lot of listening. But also a lot of searching. I want to hear every song on the lists. So far I find about 65% of the songs on Spotify. When the song is not there, I try YouTube. YouTube has almost 100% of the songs on line. These 65% of Spotify is due to the bad searching system of Spotify, I suppose. So, I hope that will improve in the future.
