Someone I don't know is using my account

Someone I don't know is using my account

Hello, today I was using my Spotify Premium account and I found lots of new songs in my playlists.

In that moment my music stopped and the screen said someone named "TIM" was listenting to music from another device.

I changed my password and my email and the user is still active in my account.
I'm afraid he will get access to my creditcard info too.

How can I gain control of my account again?

HELP!

Hey @Lautaro

That's not cool!

Spotify Customer Support are super nice and friendly and can take a look into this for you. Just get in touch with them through the online form or if you have a Twitter account, feel free to tweet @SpotifyCares at anytime 🙂

Hi. Start by going to your account at www.spotify.com and use the option Sign out everywhere so you can be sure that nobody is using it at the moment. Then change your password as soon as possible. Also, Check the option offline devices and look for any unknown device to you. If you are using facebook for logging in, you should change that too.

Hi! Thanks for the help, I did that and he is still using the account. Maybe I´m going to have to wait until he closes Spotify and can´t log in again... Although if he hacked it once, he can hack it twice. Thanks for the help though!

I'm having the exact same issue, someone keeps logging into my account even after multiple password resets on facebook and trying to use the individual device sign ins. cant seem to keep him out of my account.

I have the same problem.Im new to this software, and multiple different users keep stopping my music. And most recently they are downloading anime soundtracks to my library.

What is this issue spotify? How do these people get in when I have only ever used your program on this 1 device? Is the security on this product so bad that I have to cancell my membership?

Happening to me too. I have been fighting for active control for the better part of the day. This is not cool. Bet I can't do anything from just my phone either.
