Spotify Auto-Censor Local Files

Spotify Auto-Censor Local Files

I recently moved to spotify because I found out I could use my local files to start building my library so I wouldn't have to sift through Spotify's library for days. Unfortunately, upon doing this, spotify has automatically replaced every song possible with the clean version even though any songs in my personal library would be the explicit version. Why does spotify do this and how can I fix it without spending hours replacing every album and song with the original version I had. (bearing in mind there are at least 100 gb of music).

Thanks for the not-helpful information about content censorship that I've already read through in its entirity. If you have anything to share that's relevant to my issue, I'm waiting.

At the moment that's how Spotify acts, you're not the only one with this issue.

There is also a Inactive Idea posted about this.

So right now we can only hope that Spotify releases an update in the future which might fix this problem, in the meantime check out this Idea below.
