Spotify Customer Service

I've decided to quit Spotify and sign up for iTunes because after 3 hours of trying to get in touch with Spotify support via e-mail (provided through the website), DM'ing and publicly contacting through Twitter, and reading through customer forums, not a single Spotify staff member has attempted to aid me in any way.  Guess what Spotify, when there are alternatives out there, you need to support your customers and not resort to taking shortcuts like online forums.  

 

I have been a user for years and it is frustrating that I have to quit over such a simple problem (which I'm not even bothering trying to fix anymore), but out of principle I will not let a company disregard my issues to save a quick buck.. 

 

It is a BAD SIGN, when Comcast has better support services than you do, Spotify!

Sorry to hear that your experiences with contacting Spotify aren't the best. Spotify usually responds within 24-48 hours, did it take longer than that?

I followed the instructions Spotify provided to cancel and create a new
account because I quit Facebook and my account was synced through
facebook. I'm a student and had to go through the verification process
again for the new account and did so successfully, however, it said that it
was synced with another account (the one I just cancelled). After doing
nothing other than trying to contact support, this verification issue
disappeared and was replaced with a credit card issue, so I tried using 3
different cards, and got an error each time. After hearing nothing from
your "support team", I discovered it was very easy to sign up for iTunes
music with a student account and my days with Spotify are over.
