Spotify Premium & Adblock

Solved!

Spotify Premium & Adblock

I currently play for Spotify premium and use it across multiple devices in my house.  The devices consist of both Android and iOS.

In my home network, I run adblock at the router level and it automatically blocks for all devices from my house.

I've recently discovered that this adblock is causing the clients to not work properly.  As a premium user, I didn't think that adblock would affect premium users.

Is there a whitelist that I can add to make this work again?

Any help is appreciated.

In case anyone is having trouble, I have found the solution.

I run adblock which inherently includes blocking of domains with trackers.  If you want spotify to work, you have to whitelist these domains:

adeventtracker.spotify.com
ads-fa.spotify.com
analytics.spotify.com
audio-ec.spotify.com
audio2.spotify.com
crashdump.spotify.com
heads-ec.spotify.com
log.spotify.com
prod.spotify.map.fastlylb.net
spclient.wg.spotify.com
sto3.spotify.com
www.audio2.spotify.com

Hopes this helps anyone running into this issue.  I still stand by the fact that your mobile app shouldn't be breaking because people are blocking your tracking and ads.  Pretty poor app design if you ask me.
