Spotify Username and Facebook Username are the same?

I created my Spotify username a long time ago, and then later forgot about it and Signed in with facebook when I started using Spotify again.

Since then, I've reverted back to my old account and bought premium with it, but now I have a weird issue. When I try to login anywhere but my desktop it logs me in to my facebook account instead of my Spotify account because they have the same username (and apparently the same password?) After trying a few times it will (usually) log me into the correct account but It's become quite annoying lately and I would like to know if there is a way to delete my facebook spotify account without affecting my Spotify account or my actual account on Facbook.

Any help would be greatly appriciated, I understand that this may be a uniqe problem, though.

Hi, and welcome to the community!

Sounds like a duplicate account issue. I suggest you submit an online contact form; and someone at Spotify should be able to delete the duplicate.

If you get an automated reply; make sure to reply to it directly (even if it's from a no reply); and it will be sent to the Spotify staff.

Just to double check, you are definitely logging in using your Spotify username and password not your email address?

It won't allow me to use my email address to login. It sais something about @ being invalid

The @ being invalid? That's very odd indeed. Do you mean address? Have you tried a quick Clean reinstallation of Spotify? Might fix that.
