Spotify not available in your country error

Spotify not available in your country error

Hi! I live in the UK and have a UK IP but it says that spotify isn't available in my country and I cant change my settings because it just keeps saying that its not available in my country. please help!

Could you be more specific? 

What are you using Desktop (Mac OSx, Windows, Linux) or Mobile Devices (iOS, Android, Windows)
Are you enable to listen specific tracks, or can't even log in..

Try to log in at play.spotify.com. If the problem stays contact here

I'm having the same error...It says that Spotify is not available in the Netherlands even though it is. It looks like the profile is not updating because when I change the country from USA to Netherlands, save the new profile info, and then go to the profile again the country is not showing as Netherlands. Please fix!



I'm on Macbook OS X 10.6.8 using Chrome...

I've seen some more reports of this issue today so I've escalated this with Spotify.

I (or someone else from Spotify) will reply here when we have an update for you.

You can do the following:

 

  • Clean browser's cache data
  • Try with incognito mode
  • Try with another browser

 

If it doesn't work, please let me know.

Could you please get in touch with Spotify so they can sort this out for you?

If you send an e-mail, please check your inbox (and spam box) to check for their automatic reply. Once you get it, please reply to it immediatly (even if it's from an no-reply e-mail addres) to make sure an Spotify employee will get back to you as soon as possible.

Hi, I moved to the UK a couple of weeks ago and now I'm facing something similar. My application (Spotify Linux preview, free) error: "Your country does not match the one set in your profile. To continue use, update your profile or upgrade."

When I try to update my location (from Portugal to United Kingdom) in the browser, I am told "".

 

Please help me, cheers!

I've been in contact with someone from Spotify, and we'd like to know some things to investigate this further.

Could you please tell us what your username is, and which browser(s) you got this problem.
