My Question or Issue

 I have my free Spotify account linked to my Google Mini Home as my default music player. However I have just upgraded to Premium and assumed I could keep my same username, but Spotify allocated me a new username and so my free account is still linked to Google Home and I cannot change this to the new premium account. Help please ??

What if you unlink and then link the Spotify account again in the Google home app?

You should be able to unlink your old account then link the premium account on the google home app. I have had to unlink and link accounts like this before and it has worked for me!

Maybe enter the google home app and log into your premium account? I'm not completely sure, this is just a wild guess.
