Spotify thinks I’m abroad and won’t help

Spotify thinks I’m abroad and won’t help

Spotify will not let me log in, saying that I am abroad and can’t access my account from abroad after 14 days. However I’m in Canada and haven’t left. Canada is also the country on my account settings, and that hasn’t changed either.It suddenly just decided that I was a broad. I searched this topic on the community board and the top “solution” was to write directly to Spotify Support Asking them to manually change my country, which I did… Then I got an auto-email suggesting I post my question on the community board (!!!). So, now I’m in purgatory. I did what the community board said but then was sent right back to the community board. HELP.

Hello @sghabr1!

 

When you get the automated response by Spotify, you have to reply to that email explaining your problem. You can also fill out the online contact form to create a ticket with support. If you would prefer not to send an email, you can reach them on twitter at @SpotifyCares, or on Facebook by sending a message to the Spotify Cares Facebook page.
