Spotify will not let me pay

Spotify will not let me pay

I'm entering my debit card information and everytime I do it, a message appears telling "Oops, somethig went wrong, try again". I am from Mexico and I once had spotify premium but then I discontinued it, this debit card is new and already activated,  I do not know why this is happening, can you help me?

Have you removed the old card information from your SPotify account? 

Thank you for answering. Yes, in fact I opened  another  account due to that situation, so I had to use another e-mail account hoping it would work, but it did not. Do I have to remove the card information on the previous account?

If the old account doesn't have the same card attached I wouldn't assume so. Have you tried from different computers and devices? However, if it were me, I would try and keept he old account because of the initial workload (making playlists, adding albums and songs to account etc)
