I am a current Sprint customer and I have been trying to activate my free 6 month premium trial. Sprint assures me that I am eligable for this trial and I go to www.sprint.com/spotifyredeem and get all the way to the end where it shows click here to redeem free trial just to be shown this message:
We're sorry.
Due to a system error we are unable to activate your Spotify Premium trial at this time. Please try again later.

I had the pleasure of talking to Chrity from Sprint Social Care on the phone this afternoon. I went to Sprint's website and went to spotifyredeem and was able to use the redemption code that way. I now have 6 months free of Spotify Premium and it's covered by Sprint! This issue has been resolved! Thanks to everyone who has been a listening ear!

I am able to go from Sprint's website to login to my Spotify account and enter my user info on Spotity and then the very last prompt is click here to redeem your free 6 month premium trial to Spotify. Once I click on that button it kicks me back to Sprint with that error message. Above the error message you on the left you can see the Sprint logo and on the right the Spotify logo. Then below the dreaded We're sorry message........
Could you try to activate your trial using a different browser?
In case that doesn't work I would getting in touch with SprintCare as this is an error on their end.

I have tried, IE, Google Chrome, Fire Fox, and just about any other internet browser you can think of. I have even cleared my cookies, cache, temporary internet files and everything.
I have contacted Sprint Customer care. They have informed me that there are over 34 thousand customers having this issue and their only suggestion is to keep trying daily. They push the blame on Spotify's website and then just as of Thursday they said it was both website's issue. It's not just limited to activiating the account online. I'm not even able to do it from my smart phone. Sprint keeps replacing the code since after so many tires the code becomes invalid and they need to issue a new one. From what I understand this issue between Sprint & Spotify has been going on for months now and there doesn't seem to be any resolution in site. Spotify works great on my Sprint phone but yet Sprint wants to keep dvertising 3-6 free months of Spotify premium and then after the free trail 18 months at a discounted rice of $7.99 and then after the 18 months what ever Spotify is currently charging.
So when Sprint told me they would give me 6 free months of Spotify premium and I would be saving $59.94 I was all excited. I let my permium membership run out and had cancelled my membership thinking being a loyal Sprint customer it would be a no brainer.
My only option as it stands now is if I want Spotify premium I need to pay it on my own and continue to pay my bill with Sprint until both parties can figure out what the issue is and learn to play nice together.
I would also open a case with Spotify support too just so they are aware you are having an issue. They may have some magic they can work behind the scenes that we don't know about.

I just started my Sprint 6 month premium trial and synced it with my Spotify account. The set up was easy I did it on my computer. When I tried to log into spotify on my iPhone it said that I still have the Free subscription. I checked my account overview it says Premium. I logged out and logged back in to the iPhone Spotify app and it still said free. I then deleted the app, reinstalled it, and relogged in it still says I have the free subscription when my account overview says it's premium.
it took a few days for my account to convert over and give all the premium access. just be patient.
I converted my free spotify account to my 6-month free premium with my sprint account.
Tried to do it on my other 2 phones, but the spotify accounts were already premium paid plan, and had a few weeks to go on the current paid monthly fee, so I was unable to link my spint phones to these 2 spotify accounts. Now my spotify accounts are off premium and tried to link the sprint phone with them, and the offer is not valid anymore.
Need help to link 2 pf my phone numbers to the spotify account to get my trial period and discounted monthly fees.
What should I do I have a problem I got a 6 month trial from Sprint but whenever I go to http://www.sprint.com/spotifyredeem I get an error try again later really stressful tried for a week now and I haven't gotten it to work and I finally figured out how to get on here to post this It was difficult can someone help me please most appreciated.
