Still charged after cancelling subscription

Still charged after cancelling subscription

I got the three-month premium for 99 cents. The day before it was supposed to end I canceled and I got a confirmation email confirming that I had canceled. Then today I looked at my bank account and I have been charged 10 dollars for another month of premium and it says premium will be canceled next month. I don't understand why I am being charged when I canceled before the date I told I would be charged 10 dollars to continue my subscription. Someone please help.

Hey @4gabby4, welcome to the Community!

 

It sounds like you've got a second account with Spotify. Are there any other email addresses you could have used to register with Spotify? It's worth checking those inboxes to see if you have any Spotify emails--that will mean your extra account is registered with that email. 

 

If you don't have another email address, note how you log into the Spotify app usually. 

  • If you use your Facebook details try entering your Spotify username (if you created one originally).
  • If you use your Spotify username try entering just your email address. 

I am being charged for spotify and i don't even have it on my phone and it's on my credit statement every month can someone tell me how I can get my money back

 

 

We are also being charged and we don't have a subscription and can't cancel how the **bleep** do you contact Spotify.  We have tried everything to find this imaginary account please help

My husband cancelled his premium subscription and also there has been a credit card charge for the Premium after a confirmation of the cancelling. Have been trying to resolve this thru their help and support links.  There is not a 2nd account with Premium.  Verified that they account does show up as Free.  Now there is no further help to resolve this???   I am so not happy with this service.  What company would not have a customer service contact for resolution of issues!!!  

I ended up finding a chat line on their website and demanded that they
refund all my money whic after some negotiation happened
You will have to search hard, but find this online chat line and persue
your case here and my advise is don't take no for an answer
