That image is not a valid jpeg image (But it is)

Solved!

That image is not a valid jpeg image (But it is)

(This is my first post)

Hello. I am trying to change my profile picture, but the jpeg file won't upload. It is 18.1 KB (20.0 KB on disk), which is well within the 4MB limit. When I attempt to change the profile picture, I receive an error message which reads, "That image is not a valid JPEG image." My account is free, but I don't see how that would have anything to do with the problem.

The attached image has been converted from jpeg to jpg because for some reason these forums do not support the former. I have tried selecting the image as both a jpg and a jpeg (I know there is no difference other than the extension type but decided to check if somehow it was the fact that it was jpg rather than jpeg).

Any suggestions?

Hey @TheDoctor_91011! Thanks for writing.

Have you tried increasing the size of your image? Also, try making an exact copy of the image and uploading that one. If it still doesn't work, we recommend making the change from a different desktop PC.

We hope this helps. Have an amazing day 🙂

Thanks! The original image size was 128x128, but I simply used a crop tool to make it 200x200. Not sure why I didn't think to do that lol.
