Title.
After forgetting my password, I have tried to reset it and tried multiple times. I have successfully received an email with the link to reset it and after entering in my new password and clicking submit I get the error, "Sorry, your form has expired. Please try again. If you still need help, contact Spotify Support." There isn't any details for the error page I am seeing.
I tried the new password anyway to see if it went through, but it didn't and I am locked out of my account.

Just as the error said, please contact support here so they can help you straighten this out.
If you receive an automated email telling you to check the help section or the community, you need to reply back to it, even if it's from a no-reply address.
Support usually answers within 24-48 hours.

I cleared all Spotify cookies and that cleared up the problem.
I don't understand the suggestion to "contact Spotify support".
- the link DasPeter gave takes you to the login page, which doesn't help if your problem is not being able to log in
- the "contact spotify support" link in the error message link takes you this which just allows you to seach pre-fab answers or "ask the community"
- Click "Contact Spotify" at the bottom of the page and you get: "Here's how to get in touch with us if you need further support: Join in the conversation with thousands of other Spotify subscribers over on the Spotify Community."
It looks to me like there is no such thing as "Spotify Support", but please correct me if I am wrong.
As for this problem, which I also had, I pasted the re-set URL into a different browser and this solved the problem.
Clearing cookies solved my problem too. I use Microsoft Edge as a browser. Go to settings, clear browsing data. Instructions for other browers can be found online, of course.
