Try To Set New Device Password, but Receive No Email

Hello,

 

I've been trying to set up a device password to help me login at work. Our work uses a pretty intense firewall and I have to sign in via proxy. Worked great for a while, but now I can't even log in. At home, I log in through Facebook, but when I try at work I get a webpage with this message: Spotify desktop client communication failed. Anyway, I tried to do the set device password, but the email wasn't going through. Checked spam, checked the spelling, etc. I then changed my default email after trying a few times, but still no dice.

Hey Matt,

 

I'm not sure if that worked. I get the "A firewall may be blocking Spotify" prompt whether the login/password info is correct or not. I have all my firewall information correctly added, but then I restart and I get the same message. 

 

So now, I guess the firewall is the problem? Although I can't be sure if the login is working or not.
