Two different accounts, need to consolidate to one

Hello,

Years ago I started a spotify account under my personal email address. Two years ago, I joined spofity again with my work email address as a premium user. Since then, I have left that job and lost access to the email address linked with my premium account. I am still logged into this premium account on my app. 

I needed to login to my premium account on my computer but had forgotten the password, as I don't have access to that email address anymore I cannot reset the email. I wrote to customer service who said they would consolidate my two accounts into one, using my personal email address and put the premium access onto that email address.

I thought this has been done, however I have just realised today that it hasn't. The reason I realised is that I went to use the app and discovered that 80% of my music has been deleted from my saved songs. I am not stuck again not being able to access my account, cannot login to contact customer service on my premium account and have lost nearly all of my my music. 

Can anyone help at all? I am extremely frustrated and pissed off that as a loyal customer there is not a more straight forward way to get this solved,

All you need to do is get in contact with Spotify support and their Accounts team can take a look backstage. The easiest way to contact them is by messaging SpotifyCares on Facebook or Twitter. They usually respond within 48 hours!

Hi,

Thank you for sending me a response. I have reached out to customer services and they haven't replied. I re-downloaded the app on my phone and that re-synced my music but I still can't login to this account - So i'm just hoping I never get logged out as I won't be able to do anything about it.

TBH spotify themselves have been very unhelpful and if it wasn't that the best music was on here then I would have gone somewhere else 😞
