Unable to Change Email Address: says "something went wrong, please try again"

My Question or Issue

When I try to update my email on the accounts page, a red pop up says "something went wrong, please try again". I am connected to working wifi and have unlimited data. I have tried on my laptop and my phone.

Are you using a VPN? If so, make sure to disable it and give it another try. It's also worth opening your account page in an incognito window, or another browser, if you haven't already. If you tested with Wi-Fi, try switching to mobile data this time to see if that does the trick.

Something else you can try is changing the email directly from the mobile app on your Samsung by heading to Settings > Account > Email.
