Unable to Log into Spotify Account via multiple methods

Hi,

I am currently a Spotify Free user in the USA. 

 

I have a problem where when I try to log into Spotify via Google, it gives me the following error:

 

"Oops! Something went wrong, please try again or check out our help area"
 
I then try putting my gmail account into the Spotify given box, along with multiple passwords I believe might work, but none of them end up working. I click the forgot password box, put my google account as the email, but I never end up receiving the email. I have tried multiple times. 
 
Finally, I tried putting my Spotify Username into the forgot password box, but it said something along the lines of "Spaces are not allowed in a Spotify Username"
 
I do not recollect changing my spotify name, but that may be a possibility.
 
Does anyone know other methods or a solution to fixing this problem?

I understand the frustration you must be feeling with this issue. I recommend that you follow the following steps to try to resolve the situation:

 

Clear Browser Cache and Cookies: Sometimes login issues can be resolved by clearing your browser's cache and cookies. Try this and then try logging in again.

 

Check Spam and Junk Email: Check that the password reset email did not end up in the spam or junk folder in your email.

 

Try a Different Browser: Sometimes the problem can be related to the browser you are using. I recommend trying to log in using a different browser or incognito mode.

 

Verify Google Account: Make sure your Google account is working properly and there are no security issues or pending verifications that could be preventing you from logging in.
