My Question or Issue

I'm unable to log-in to Spotify.  E-mail and password are correct. FAQ doesn't provide any help.

Hi yatski,

 

Which errors do you get when trying to log in?

What happens after you enter your email and password?


I read another post saying that if you (on mobil) uses your username (not email) to log in, it should work.

ive been having the same problem for a month now, but the username instead of email solution does not work for me, even though it seems to work for everyone else. pls help

I'm sorry to hear it doesn't work for you.

What error message do you get, and can you tell a little bit more about where you log in?

- Phone/Desktop

- App version

etc.

The message that pops up says "Unable to log in. Either username or password is incorrect." I have a Samsung Galaxy S8, and the Spotify version is 8.4.9.271

Hmm, that sounds weird @rob2002,

 

1. Can you reset your password?

2. Have you tried following this: https://support.spotify.com/article/do-i-have-an-additional-account/ to see if there might be an issue here?
