Unsubscribe From Spotify E-mails...

I just want to stop e-mails from Spotify.  When you go to the page to change the e-mail preferences, for some asinine reason it highlights your e-mail address and shows a message saying it's already in use and will not process the request.

 

These messages contain information on my Facebook account, but I am not using Spotify with facebook as far as I know.  It sends me something saying

Your friend Jason Watkins just joined Spotify and is now sharing top tracks, playlists and music with you.

I  just want to stop the Spotify Spam.  Anyone know a way around this e-mail issue on the unsubscribe page?  I would appreciate the help.

Kainee & Linnea_Sjoberg - Looks like both of you had a second account here. Not to worry, I've just deleted them, so you shouldn't get any more of those emails through.

I keep having the same problem, and am getting quite annoyed with all the e-mails.

 

Is there something I can do to fix the problem?

Grrrr - Seems that you had two accounts. I've deleted the second one now, and you shouldn't get anymore emails from that account.

I have the same problem. At first it said that my email was already in use, then when I finally was able to change it I still got e-mails! Now, trying to change the e-mail settings back a fourth a couple of times has made the message, about my e-mail address being in use already, pop right back up again. 

I've got the same problem as well. I marked the"never" boxes but still receive emils like "Anna added a track... bla bla bla", and I don't think I've got a subscribed people list. And the account is not connected to Facebook in that way either. Thanks for you're help! (Btw I also got the comment that another account was registered on my email account. Don't know about that though...)

I have the same exakt problem.

I get emails even though I have ticked "never" in all boxes.

Would you please untick everything for me please. 

I have this problem too very annoying I dont want emails from spotify but cant change this in settings!!! PLEASE FIX IT!!!!!!! This is crap.

I have the same problem.

I keep getting spotify emails, but when I go over to my user preferences and tick all the "never"-boxes, it wont allow me to save the settings due to my email being used by another user (!?).

 

I seem to have a duplicate account, could you please fix this? 🙂 

I´m having the exact same problem. Maybe I have two accounts as well?

 

Could this be fixed? 🙂

If you read every email to the end you get the information how to disable updates for threads you posted in...

Hello again. I thought this issue was solved when i looked into my profile a day after posting in this thread, all email options was set to "never recieve". 

 

But I still get emails when someone is adding tracks and I cant still change my settings, it keeps saying that there is another account with the same adress which i find hard to believe, how could this account ever be registered if the adress was already in use?

 

Please fix this I dont want to get any more emails from spotify!

I can see you do have two accounts - one created via Facebook and one with Spotify. The FB one did not have the notification emails turned off, so I've done that for you now. You shouldn't receive any further emails.

I'm not seeing a duplicate account in your case. Please submit a contact form on this issue - if you haven't already - and we'll investigate.
