User name displays as numbers

My Question or Issue

My user name does not display my name, but insrein displays a  series of numbers. Other threads have suggested that I log out and log back in again; this hasn't worked. Other threads have also suggested removing the app from Facebook, but this threatens to delete all my data from the app. It's been this way for a long time and it's very frustrating.

Onto your problem: 

- Can you make sure, that the checkbox here: "Process my Facebook data"  is litten up green?

- Could you please log-in on another device and make sure that there is your name right?

And it could also be that the servers haven't updated your name yet, so try to wait 24 hours.

Process data is checked. 

It's been this way for months. I've tried intermittently to log on and off again, which never works. 

Any other ideas?

Hey @roentgenyay.

If it didn't help, log in on your Facebook profile and make sure that you have granted Spotify access to your personal information.

If that doesn't help as well, you'll have to create a new account. No worries, if you make sure your music collection is stored in public playlists, you can visit your old account with your new account and grab all your songs from there. You’ll be able to visit your old account by putting the following string in the search bar:  spotify:user:username

Don't forget to replace username with your own username. Oh and by the way, If you want to use the same email address for your new account, you'll have to close your old account. You'll have 7 days to visit your old account and find your music there.
