Why are we not allowed to change our username?

Welcome to the Spotify Community

You arent allowed to change your Username because there is a system that Spotify uses that keeps track of what playist belongs to who. However if your spotify is linked to your Facebook account, then your friends will see your name instead of the Username that you made.
