Username

Hi, I just set up my spotify account and I put Maddy as my username when registering.  However when I look it is a jumble of numbers and letters, 7thl0a8lgknvkxpyo7qyfu9mf

Why did it not use the name I asked for when registerings on spotify? it never said name already taken etc and can you change this back?

Your username is only used for logging in. Other uses will be able to find your account using the display name you chose.

I am having the same problem and when someone was trying to search me my username did not come up
