Video podcasts only playing audio

My Question or Issue

Whenever I play a podcast with video (any podcast), the mini video player that pops out only shows the thumbnail while the audio plays. 

I've tried switching browsers, switching accounts, using incognito and private browsing, clearing the cache, resetting the settings. 

The same thing happens on both Web Player and App

Could you try using a different Internet connection, like another WiFi network or a mobile hotspot, to see if this makes any difference?

We'd also like to know if this happens in any other devices apart from your Macbook.

Thanks for the reply. 

Tried it on my phone from two different accounts and still got just audio.

I only have one network available to me at the moment so I won't be able to test that.

Could you try restarting your router by unplugging it for a couple of minutes? 

If this doesn't do the trick, would you mind sending us a screen recording of the issue happening so we can take a closer look? Make sure not to send any private info.
