Why did i not get the Holiday Deal?

Hey, so i bought a spotify card for a month and it says if i buy for a month i get 2 months of premium for free, but i only got premium for a month :(. 

 

So could i maybe get those 2 extra months? 😄

 

Card bought 29.12.2014, used same day.

You didn't get the discount because you can't use the gift card to buy the holiday deal.

 

I think you can't get a refund, but you should contact with Spotify Consumer Support filling this contact form, or tweeting to @SpotifyCares.

 

 

 


If you receive an automated email that leads you back to the community or help pages, reply to it (even if it's from "no-reply") and one of the Spotify team members will get back to you as soon as possible.

 

 

 

Don't forget to check your Spam Box 😉

I don't see anywhere in the Holiday deals terms that it says it can't be purchased with a giftcard. Just that it not available to people who have had Premium or Unlimited before or previously used another offer for trying Premium.

It doesn't say anywhere that you can't use a giftcard, but I did some testing and it looks like when you click the giftcard option it redirects to the http://spotify.com/redeem page which does not support the offer.

 

I have passed along feedback to the payments team suggesting they make it more clear what payment methods are accepted for the offer.
