Why don't I have AI DJ yet?

I'm in Australia, on a family plan and everyone else in my family has had the DJ feature for several weeks now, but I still don't.
I've tried on iOS and desktop, updating and reinstalling the app, logging out/in, looking through the Playback settings for the DJ feature.
A few weeks ago I did get a notification about the DJ, but when I clicked it, it said "DJ is not available in your country" despite everyone else I know having access.

I have literally the exact same issue, all the same details. On family plan, entire else has it, had that singular notification and apart from that, nothing.

Don’t worry, DJ is currently still gradually rolling out to Premium users in select markets. If you’re on Premium, in a market where DJ is available and not seeing it at the moment, rest assured it’s coming your way. Hope you enjoy!

I use Spotify premium in Aus on IOS version of Spotify 8.8.78 however I am unable to access Spotify DJ. Does anyone know how I might be able to access it? I’ve tried uninstalling, re installing. Logging out / back in again. All other users in my Spotify premium family plan can access, but me as the account main user can’t.

I was using the individual premium, then it's release at Philippines, then I already fixed and everything still showing up the ai dj.

I have this same issue and its now almost 2024; It's been almost 12 months since the rollout initially began.

All my friends and family, even people who don't use the app much at all have it. The person connected to my duo account has it but I don't! I'm starting to believe its a bug for family and duo account subscriptions now as seemingly everyone has it except for the odd one out of a group of users.

I understand it was initially rolled out as a beta, but its been almost 12 months now. Surely the rollout in US, AUS, UK, NZ is complete? I really don't see why some users in these countries would still not see it unless its a large difficult to squash neglected bug?

The DJ feature is currently still gradually rolling out, so if you don't have it yet, you'll get it at some point in the future. 🙂

The ai dj is not available for me even though all the other accounts in my family plan it works. I am on iPhone 7 on iOS 15.8 and live in Australia

Got the same issue. Been waiting since august to try it out, if you ask support all they keep saying is "It is still gradually rolling out". What a joke.

At Spotify, we're always testing new improvements and features to give our users a better experience. So you may see something your friend can't see, or you may have access to a completely new feature for a while.

We don't have further info on this, but as soon as we do, rest assured we'll post an update on our For the Record blog.

I found out now why i had it xD

when commuting through germany with a train, i suddenly get it for the ongoing listening session.

So every once in a while Spotify rolls out new features. I’m listing the AI DJ as an example, but I’m also referring to other things (such as Daylists). 

AI DJ first came out in February ‘23 but at first it was very limited. Then in August of the same year it was made available in more countries, but since then there hasn’t been any news regarding further expansion or it being available internationally. I appreciate the thought Spotify is putting behind all of these features but it’s so disheartening to be a premium user for quite a while and never get to use the full features they have to offer. It’s been well over a year since they last expanded it and they’ve been silent ever since.
