Won't Let Me Connect to Facebook

When I try to connect my Spotify to my new Facebook account, I get this message:

Application Unavailable: The application you're trying to use is either no longer available or access is restricted.

This happens when I try to log in on desktop, mobile, and from the "Log in with Facebook" option. My Facebook is brand new, so I know it isn't connected to any other Spotify accounts. I've seen others with the same problem, but none of their solutions helped me.

thanks for posting !

A user can eaither create an account using his Facebook or through using an e-mail address.

What you're trying to do seems like connecting to a mail based account you created through your Facebook account.

Correct me if i'm wrong so we can pick it up there 🙂

Hi there! For some reason, the problem magically fixed itself and I was able to login to my Facebook account with Spotify. I have now connected my accounts!
