I want to permanently delete my account and I received just a reply from support where they ask for certain information, but I have been waiting for days to remove this profile, so I can use my new account with a student discount. It is incredible that after three times sending the contact forms, I still have my account active at this moment. Because of this account I haven't been able to pay for premium on my new account. Completely disappointed regarding to customer service. The music is excellent, but I didn't expect this. Please, I hope somebody in the staff can help me. It has been more than three days that I'm requesting this! Thanks...

Hey there @cdiaz1011 and welcome to the community! You shouldn't need a full account deletion to get the student discount, all you need to do is cancel your current subscription and then use the student option to sign up again. This can be done through your account page without needing the assistance of the Spotify support team.
Click this link to check subscription status. Once you get to that page, you'll want to go to the section abotu managing subscriptions and cancel if there is an active premium account.

Hey Kbrooksc. Thanks for your answer. I really appreciate it. The problem is that I signed up for student discount with my past account. Every time that now I try to register with student discount using my new account, they detect that I already signed up with those data as a student. How do I get rid of that old account? I don't knoe what to do. It's making me crazy, and Spotify support still doesn't reply. What is that supposed to mean? I just want a solution to this. Thanks anyway mate!
