Hello. I amended my payment mechanism from a credit card to a debit card. This seems to have caused a credit for a zero amount to be generated to my bank account. Can you explain how this is happening please ?

The pending charge is a part of your bank’s authorization process.
As the transaction(s) have not completed, you won't get billed. The authorization will expire and the funds will be returned shortly.

The transaction appearing on my account as a CREDIT and not a DEBIT.
Is it definitely an authorising transaction do you think ?

Thanks again. Yes you are correct. I work for a bank and these transactions are posted to a shadow database and disappear when they are not matched by the retailer
