accepting Family Plan invitations

accepting Family Plan invitations

I have upgraded to Family plan and sent 3 invitations, however the reipients cannot registere using the code which has been sent to their e mails, either nothing happens or it says that the user name/e mail is incorrect; I am entering the username or e mail address of the account holder along with the code sent by spotify....what am i doing wrong?

Hey @gingernut_19,

 

Sending a Premium for Family plan invite does not create a Spotify account for the family members. 

 

If they don't have a Spotify account yet, they'll have to sign up at https://spotify.com/signup first before they are able to accept the Premium for Family invite. :')

many thanks - problem was that I had spotify already installed as I have been listening to my sons account. whenever i followed the link it simply took me to my son's account. I resolved it by signing out on every device before going through the process again.
