Hello,

My bank statement is showing that I was charged twice this month for my premium subscription.  Please Help.

If you’re seeing unexpected charges from Spotify on your bank/credit card, check first to see if they’re marked as “pending”.

Pending charges

A pending charge is a part of your bank or credit card company's authorization process. When you submit a payment, they place a temporary authorization on the funds. If the transaction doesn’t successfully complete, no money will actually be taken. 

In that instance, the authorization will expire and the funds will reappear on your statement. The time this takes can vary, depending on your bank/credit card company.

NOT PENDING?

If the unexpected charge you’re seeing isn’t marked as pending, check to see if you have any other accounts the charge might have come from.
