can't cancel subscription

When i try to cancel my premium membership it just says that my password is incorrect. I am logging on through facebook, I do not understand why this keeps happening. PLEASE HELP!!!

Hey! 🙂 

If you are having trouble accessing your account to cancel your subscription, you will need to get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form (this link does not require a login) and they will be able to assist you further with this. Be sure to include your relevant account details in the body of the message. 

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.

Very frustrated by this *free* trial situation. I decided I did not want to continue and subscribe to spotify. I logged into account and it said my free subsciption had expired. Then I see the monthly amount has been taken from my account. I log in to get help (my account is connected to facebook) and I do not have an option to cancel my subscription. I've followed the directions and it does not work for me. It does not show up on my profile. There is nothing more annoying than no option to email customer services direct or speak to someone???? I've tried logging out of facebook completely and still no option to cancel.

I'm having the same trouble.  Downloaded Chrome to try to cancel with a different browser and it did not make a difference.  I have no trouble logging in with Facebook and did so before logging into Spotify.

I have the same problem, please cancel my subscription.

I don't want to get charrged at the end of the month.

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂

 

If you have access to your account, you can easily cancel yourself from your online account, just make sure you go the whole way through the cancellation process to the confirmation screen. Your online overview will then tell you when your account will revert to Spotify free.

If you have any issues, you will need to get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form and they will be able to assist in getting it cancelled.

PLEASE NOTE THE PASSWORD/CHANGE TO CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION IS NOT AN ERROR ON YOUR PART!!! It is directly related to how they continue to sucker money from you! Please contact inquiry@newyork.bbb.org - the Better Business Bureau with your issue so they CAN ADD YOU TO THE LONG list of customers they are doing this too! 

 

I am going through the SAME issue but the difference is law school TAUGHT ME HOW TO find truth and Spotify is known for doing this already! This has nothing to do with your BROWSER! 

 

ASHAMED is what they should be! EVEN MUSIC IS NOW DANGEROUS TO HAVE!!!! I swear it is SO SAD! No customer service # nothing BUT HERE IS AN EMAIL ADDRESS:

@kvoliveira - Spotify aren't in the business of ripping people off. If you have an issue get in touch with support here and they will be more than happy to help you out.
