i have duo but only one of the accounts is premium, the other has ads

i have premium duo and added my boyfriend to the account since we live together however only my account is working as premium, his has ads and does not allow to play specific songs only radios. It stated that with duo you get access to two premium accounts for couples under one roof. so why are you charging me now for duo but not giving me duo. in my spotify it says my plan has updated to duo already. please help.

I recommend telling him to check if he's using the right login details. He might have joined the Premium Duo plan with a different account.
