missing 'social' dropdown to link with facebook account

Hi, i want to link my spotify with facebook. I've followed help centre article but when i click beside profile on arrow I only have two options; account or log out. I set up my account with an email and have recently transferred to family plan. Hope you can help. thanks!

Are you using the desktop app? If you can't link Spotify in the desktop app, you can also login to your account page here:

https://www.spotify.com/account/overview/

There will be a connect to Facebook button. Try that and see if it works.

cheers for response. I followed link but I don't see any social button - should i attach a screenshot? it's a family membership - dont know if that affects it.

Not to worry. If your account was created through Facebook, you won't see the option to link another profile to it. 

In case you'd like to link a different Facebook profile to Spotify, we'd recommend creating a new account here. 

If anything else comes up, we'll be right here.
