my Facebook name and Spotify name is different

My Question or Issue

i have changed my facebook username but my spotify username is still my old facebook username, as i remembered if we connect our account to facebook, our display name will be our username in facebook, but why isn't my name changing to my new facebook username?

Thanks for reaching out to the Community about this. 
 

Just jumping in to add to what @DanielTham suggested. Along with following the steps included in the link, you can also try a clean reinstall of both mobile apps. 

We recommend the clean reinstall as it'll remove the old drivers first and then install the new ones. It'll also get you the latest version of Spotify.
