my country does not match with the one set in my profile

Hi everyone,

 

I am Spanish and I had a Spotify account back in Spain but I am now living in the Netherlands. When Somehow I changed my profile, to Netherlands, but now, when I try to reproduce music in Spotify it doesn’t let me do that because it says that my country does not match with the one set in my profile. I have tried to change back my country to “Spain”, since I don’t know if the country in my profile has to be the one in which I live or the one in which I created my account. Anyway I cannot change it because the bottom in my profile to change the country links me to the general questions page, and in the general questions page it send me back to my profile, so I don’t know how to change my country (anyway, I don’t know if this is the solution for my original problem, it is, that I cannot use spotify) Finally I uninstalled Spotify from my computer and installed it again and now I cannot even login to my account (it says again that my country does not match with the one set in my profile)… I don’t know what else to do neither what the problem is…

The country set on your Spotify profile needs to match the country in which you currently are in. 

What country does http://whatismyipaddress.com/ say you are in?

It says I am in Netherlands (where I actually am) but still when I try to log in it keeps telling me that annoying message…

 

Can you log into the web player?
play.spotify.com

I didn’t even know that there were a web player but, yes, I have been able to enter there (it didn’t ask me for a username or password, probably because I am already logged into my account in the Spotify website…)

 

 

Definitely weird!

Would it be possible to try another reinstallation of the actual app (sorry - I know its a pain!)
