spotify family invite

Hi, i tried to invite my sister to my spotify family account, she clicked on the email invite link but failed to redeem successfully even after multiple attempts. what is the problem?

Welcome to the community!

I run an account for my family myself. A few things I would check, and if you are still having issues, let me know.

For my information and hopefully help better, on your Premium For Family account info, under her name does it show as Active, or Invited?

1. Is the email you are inviting to spotify the same one she is logged in as?
2. Are you both registered (and living) at the same address?
3. Are you using a mobile or computer to activate the link? Try a different platform.
4. Failing the above, try the usual uninstall/reinstall of Spotify.

   2. yes living same address. how do i check the address that i'm registered in?

   4. not sure if this is relevant, activate email invite link from internet browser..

Does her profile say it is Active? Or does it appear Invited/Pending?

Try cancelling that invite, and sending her another one.
