Hi @Niarekanz and @brianon1, welcome to the Community!

Please follow these steps:

  • Check your subscription page. Your status should be Premium.
  • If you're on Premium, try signing out and back into the app.
  • If it says Free, check the receipt we send to your email inbox. Make sure you're signing in with the username on that receipt. If the username on your receipt is a 10 digit number, please sign in with your Facebook login details.

I have the same problem, I wanted to sign up to premium on the special offer €0.99 per month for 3 months and I did it 7 days ago. This morning when I log in it says I'm a free user and need to pay full amount to become Premium. I can't say for sure but I think when I was registering there was no other option than to try the 7 day trial.

Very annoyed by this. I'm sure we are not the only ones.

Hi Thanks for the reply. Please see below the receipt. I've tried the steps
you mentioned but it still says I'm on Spotify Free. When I signed up fort
he special offer for Premium on 31st of December it didn't give me the
option to enter my payment details so i assumed that this would be taken
from my Apple iTunes account or it would ask me after the trial period was
over. Can you advise if I can still avail of the 3 month special offer as I
would have entered my payment details when I signed up if it gave me the
option. Thanks

Hey Brian I guess you forgot to attach the receipt!

it says spotify free..

it didn't help. i checked everything.. the username, the email, everything is alright

but there is something else.. after i paid with the website and my status changed from "premium trial" to "premium" then i found out that in order to disable auto renewal on the account i had to cancel my subscription .. so i did that and now i found out that an email was sent to me saying "you've cancelled your spotify Premium subscription which will end on 2017-01-07

maybe that is because i bought the subsription from the website after i purchased 7 days trial through the app store..

My subscription failed to renew this month and I have tried to update/ change my payment information using multiple cards and still cannot add a new one. Is there a work-around for this?

Hi @Ho11ywood303,

What message do you get when trying to update?

Have you tried using multiple internet browsers in your computer?
