3 days before my premium subscription was due, I went on to Spotify to reduce the subscription level, however I now find that this hasn't happened and that I am still a premium subscribed and was chared again the full amount on the 7 th March.
Bceause it is so difficult to contact Spotify I have had to tell my credit card company to block all future payments, which they have now done.
This isn not a good customer experience. Would some one from SPotify please contact me so that I can a get a refund for the current month on the overchardge

Hello I've got a problem for trying spotify premium for 30 day trial. It doesn't work, it asks me for a credit card first, but I haven't tried it yet.
I want to try it first without putting in a debit or credit card. I hope you could help how to try it for FREE. thanks. Sorry for my bad english.
Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂
The 30 day free premium trial is the start of a rolling monthly subscription, so you need to enter your card details to set that up but you won't be charged for the first 30 days. You are free to cancel at any time in those free 30 days and you will continue to have the free trial, after which your account will revert to Spotify free and you won't be charged a thing.
Be sure if you are signing up for a free trial you go from https://www.spotify.com/freetrial/

I can't find where to cancel my subscription. This is close to fraud. It seems that I have to block spotify with my creditcard company as well.
Hey guys 🙂
You can cancel/change your subscription at any time from your subscription pages
If you have any issues just get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form and they will be able to assist you..
If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.

That doesn't mean it's free, I just won't try it that's it. I just want to try it and then pay, not the other way round. I don't like to put my bank details in first instance.
But thanks anyway for your help!!
