Add to queue seems to do nothing, no more add to up next?

The add to up next option from the long press menu in my library seems to have been replaced with an add to queue option. This change in and of itself is fine, but the documentation on the Spotify site still references add to queue.

Regardless, this feature does not seem to work. No matter how many times I select the option, the selected track or album is never added to the queue. Evenly Spotify will just stop playing.

This works fine on desktop.

I've had similar no-op behavior experiences with add to playlist and save. Often selecting these options just does nothing, which can be quite frustrating. This all started happening in the last few months.

Are you using a blue light filter perchance? If so, try turning it off.

Yup, that's totally it. I swear this used to work just fine previously. Something must have changed?

I'd accept your message as a solution, but I'd love a proper fix from Spotify.

They broke it in a recent update. Hopefully they'll fix it soon.

I'm sad I have to turn off Night Shift to queue my songs. Please fix this Spotify!
