I logged into my account and saw that I can't play a single song and absolutely all playlists are empty. I don't know what this could be connected with. Moreover, this problem is only in the application. There is no such problem on the website. What should I do to fix my account? I have already reinstalled the app.

I was on Twitter, and someone said this is only happening to free users.
I was in Japan for 3 weeks and now I'm home in Australia and my app is still broken. Changed region back and forward. Clean app installs, tried beta program and it's still broken.
i tried to go on the website to change the location but there was only one option, USA. and thats where i am but theres still no songs at all in my spotify.

After loging into my account i noticed that i am not able to play songs.Only empty playlists can be seen.LIked songs have also dissapeared.
But this is not the case while logging into the same account on my desktop over there it is perfectly normal and working properly.
for a few days I was like ok, it's spotifys servers, yep I'll let them, fix that, but it's been SO long and it's annoyingly random, some days I'll have a functioning spotify, somedays all 800 songs get removed from my liked, I can't even play anyone else's playlists.
Mentioning your issues even here is like talking to a wall, let alone the support which seems to be rigged to be intentionally re tar ded

I cannot listen to my spotify because of a location error that keeps me from logging in. It tells me to change my location, but it is already set in Italy since I haven't traveled recently. How can I fix it?
Bonjour, j'ai un peu le même problème mais limite pire, c'est à dire que j'ai créé mon compte en France il ya moins d'unesemaine (à savoir que j'ai du recréé un compte car le mien avait le même bug), j'ai été déconnecté de ce dernier et quand j'essaye de me connecter on m'affiche le message suivant "vous ne pouvez utiliser spotify à l'étranger que pendant 14 jours, changez vos paramètres d'emplacement afin d'utiliser spotify" seulement le problème est que j'ai créé mon compte en France (et a l'emplacement exact duquel j'essaie désespérément de me connecter) et y'a moins d'une semaine comme je l'ai dit, il y'a donc un problème et je ne sais pas comment le régler. Sachant que quand je me connecte via internet, premièrement, j'y arrive et en plus dans mes paramètres mon emplacement est bien enregistré en France

I have the same problem, I am not using a VPN, i have never. When I try to login it tells me "You can only use Spotify abroad for 14 days. Update your location at Spotify.com to continue using it." I tried to use WIFI and Mobile Data, nothing works, I checked what my location is, its set to Germany, my IP is also from Germany, I then tried to change my Country to Austria in the settings and used a VPN. That also did not work. Nothing works at all. This makes me just wanna uninstall spotify at this Point, why is there even such a thing 🙏🏻.

I'm reaching out because I've encountered an issue with the playlists in my Spotify app. Whenever I try to open any playlist—whether it's my own or a curated one—they all appear completely empty, with no songs displayed at all.
I have verified that the region listed in my Spotify profile is set to Canada, and I am currently located in Canada as well. So, the region settings are aligned correctly.
Could you please assist me in understanding what might be causing this issue and how it can be resolved? I’d appreciate your help in restoring access to the playlists as soon as possible.

I have also the same probelm,
and i only can fix it if completly uninstall Spotify and install it again. and funny enough thatt this also not always works at first attemp.
I face this issue few times per week.
Its quite annoying.
Basically everytime i want to listen to music on my phone i have to install spotify again 😄
I hope Spotify team will understand that this is a real issue and not just trying to find workaround.

I've always had this issue about a week after installing Spotify, and I have no idea why. I only use this damned app because I love my girlfriend, we have a lot of memories tied to it and made plenty of playlists together. Honestly, I think I speak for all Spotify users when I say we'd gladly pay for Premium if Spotify started paying their artists in dollars instead of cents. I use it completely free. no mods, no hacks, no nothing. Never happened on paid users btw.
