Android 9 update...unable to change tracks via Bluetooth

My Question or Issue

After recent Android 9 update on Feb 2019, I'm unable to change track via Bluetooth.

No response from Forward and Back controls on Honda CRV bluetooth controls.

No issues before the update. All other media players on the device works fine, except for Spotify.

Already cleared Cache memory, no change.

Able to resolve the issue myself by uninstall and reinstalling Spotify on the device. Works fine now.

I also disabled the default Car view, and Waze navigation, and Notifications from the settings.

For some reasone these settings are freezing up the App on Samsung S9+
