Android Nougat equaliser missing

I have recently updated to nougat to find that the equaliser seems to be missing will there be an update to replace it?

Spotify uses the android system equalizer. If the option isn't showing, this will be because your phone manufacturer didn't include the android equalizer in the nougat update. All you can do is to try the third party equalizers in the Play store.

There is now an equalizer in the sound settings in android. Go to settings-sound-audio settings

My device equaliser is not working. I've tryed more than 5 apps including the Nougat equaliser app, but without success. My device is a Moto Z Play - Nougat 7.1.1. Do you know any other solution? Thanks!
